Let's Talk: Impact of Historic Housing Discrimination on Our Current Neighborhoods

Saturday, September 18, 2021

The Arc of Justice provides an invitation for us to discuss the intersection of civil rights and fair housing practices. As a community, through a lens of equity, belonging, and access, we will learn more about and discuss the historical adverse impact of historical housing discrimination in the Metro Detroit area. We will explore housing discrimination practices and connections to our individual and collective lived experiences. Our goal is to engage in meaningful dialogue that provides education, generates awareness, deepens connection, and sparks inspiration to continue advocacy for equitable housing practices that contribute to cultivating welcoming and inclusive Livonia neighborhoods. This event is part of Livonia's One City One Book project. For more information, please visit: onecityonebooklivonia.org
