DPW Driving Through City to Collect Storm-damaged Limbs

DPW chipper

Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 6, DPW Crews will be making a one-time sweep through the City, providing chipper service for brush and branches as a result of the recent snowstorm. Tree branches and tree limbs must be longer than four feet in length. Branches should be stacked with all of the cut ends in one direction, preferably towards the street, for chipper service.

The 2024 Weekly Separated Yard Waste program will resume on Monday, March 25. Brush Pickup Service will resume Monday, April 1 and runs through the first week of October.

Livonia residents may dispose of wood waste for free at the Wood Waste Disposal Facility on Glendale Avenue east of Farmington Road.  For more information, please visit our Wood Waste Disposal Facility webpage.
