Light Up Livonia!

Mayor Maureen Miller Brosnan, Council Members Brandon McCullough and Jim Jolly, and their merry band of elves shared the exciting news last weekend about our first-ever Light Up Livonia Holiday Light Contest! The contest runs from Dec. 6-20 and is open to all Livonia residences and businesses, with a chance to receive a special prize from the mayor and a North Pole guest.

Free Flu Shots

Thanks to our friends at Meijer and the Livonia Housing Commission, free flu shots will be available for all ages from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Dec. 3, by appointment at Silver Village (33780 Lyndon).

Pre-register here to be one of three people per 15-minute time block.

SilverSneakers Available Nov. 30

The Kirksey Recreation Center will be accepting SilverSneakers memberships starting Nov. 30. If you’re age 65+, visit SilverSneakers.com to check your eligibility and then enroll at the Kirksey Recreation Center at no additional cost using your SilverSneakers member ID number.
