New Session starting for
New Year next week

Most aquatics programs are underway and all other programs are scheduled to begin the week of Jan. 18. Spots are filling up fast, so make sure to register today for all Winter I programs you may be interested in before they're full. There are still a few spaces left in the Sports and Games classes for ages 2-3 and 4-5, as well as the Basketball Clinics for ages 7-9.

Plus, there are tons of adult fitness options to choose from. It's a new year and resolutions of better health tend to follow. The Kirksey Recreation Center is ready to help you hit those fitness goals. Check out the variety of amenities a membership will get you and stop in if you're interested in signing up.

Mies Park pavilion

Pavilion Reservations Start Feb. 2

The 2021 pavilion reservation process Feb. 2 will operate differently this year.

Livonia residents are eligible to register in person Feb. 2 at the Kirksey Recreation Center (15100 Hubbard). Residents will sign up for a time slot with a pre-assigned number in the order they arrive at the recreation center at no cost. That number and time slot can be found on your receipt upon signing up for your time slot.

Residents shall return to the Recreation Center no earlier than five minutes prior to their time slot and will be able to reserve their pavilion and complete payment during their time slot. If an individual shows up more than five minutes past their time slot, they shall be moved to the back of the queue.

Time slots will be distributed starting at 5 a.m. Feb. 2 to reserve pavilions starting at 7 a.m. Feb. 2. Non-residents will be allowed to register first come, first serve starting Feb. 3. Online reservations are also available starting Feb. 3.
