COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments at Detroit’s Ford Field
Dear Livonia Resident,
We wanted to share with you information about the vaccine clinic at Detroit’s Ford Field. Meijer is partnering with the State of Michigan and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments. The arena will open as a clinic on Wednesday, March 24 and operate seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. for eight weeks. They plan to administer 6,000 doses a day.
Any Michigan resident who is currently eligible to receive the vaccine can register online for an appointment through Meijer. You can also text "EndCOVID" to 75049 or call the State of Michigan COVID-19 hotline at (888) 535-6136 and press 1.
Through March 27, the Vaccinate Livonia program is committed to providing second doses of the Pfizer vaccine to those who have previously received their first dose through the program. This includes visits to city-owned senior living facilities to deliver second doses to residents. No new first-dose appointments are available through the City of Livonia during this time. Please check www.VaccinateLivonia.org for updates. We have a dedicated COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline. The number is (734) 466-2019. Please do not call other City of Livonia Departments as they aren't able to assist you.
We know that many of you are anxious to receive the vaccine. We also encourage people to continue to try to register for vaccines through their healthcare provider or local pharmacy.

If you have received your first dose already, please remember that your second dose appointment is the same day and time as your first one, just three weeks later.
