All the Deck the Rec spots may be full at the Kirksey Recreation Center for next month’s tree-decorating display/contest, but there are still spots available at Greenmead Historical Park.

For the second-straight year, Greenmead will host Deck the Rec trees, giving local organizations, families and businesses a chance to host and decorate festive artificial trees for the public to enjoy. With more than 2,000 people coming to Greenmead in December for Night of Lights and Santa Stroll, the trees are a great way to gain exposure to the community for FREE.

Check it out and register by Nov. 16 to decorate a tree by Dec. 1 and take them down Dec. 29-30 after our patrons vote on their favorites.
