Become part of a classic stage play, as our second-annual Shakespeare in the Park production brings "Henry V" to life at Stymelski Veterans Park this summer.

Auditions to join the cast will take place 1-4 p.m. Saturdays-Sundays, March 25-26 and April 1-2, at the Kirksey Recreation Center. No registration required, just drop in prepared with a William Shakespeare monologue or sonnet to recite. Performance dates will be July 21-23 and 28-30. Presented by Livonia Parks and Recreation, Livonia Community Theatre and the Hardies Family Trust. Contact Megan at mduby@livonia.gov with any questions.

Becky Burnard is Our February Aquatics Team Member of the Month

Congratulations to Becky Burnard for being February’s Aquatics Team Member of the Month!

Becky has been with our team since June 2016 and has been an invaluable asset to our swim lesson program. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and is never without a smile! Becky loves working for Livonia Parks and Recreation because she enjoys getting to know different people of the community and watching swim participants learn. She loves when she gets to see those she has helped and see how far they have come with their progress.

She loves chocolate and sandwiches, and enjoys spending time with her family and children, and reading mysteries. Thank you, Becky, for your hard work and dedication to Livonia!
