FREE Shakespeare in the Park's 'Henry V' Heads into Final Weekend

The first weekend of our FREE Shakespeare in the Park production of “Henry V” went great and the cast is ready for round two. Three more performances are lined up for 6 p.m. Friday/Saturday, July 28-29, and 2 p.m. Sunday, July 30, all at Stymelski Veterans Park.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show! A food truck will be onsite an hour before each show begins. No registration required for this FREE event.

Call for Vendors Now Open for Family-to-Family Sale, Flea Market

We have two great events coming up and vendor registration is now open for both!

We'll be hosting our inaugural Family-to-Family Sale 5-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, at the Kirksey Recreation Center where 50 vendors will sell an array of gently-used clothing, books, toys, decorations, household items and more! Vendors can get two parking spaces for $20, or add additional spaces for $10 each. A vehicle must occupy one of the spaces. Register here to be a seller. Free entry for shoppers!

Our popular Fall Flea Market takes over Greenmead Historical Park 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10. We'll have more than 160 vendors selling a huge variety of items, from vintage to custom-made creations. Cost for vendors is $45 per space. Register here to be a seller. There is a $3 entry fee for shoppers ages 12 and older.

'The Lions of Fifth Avenue' Focus of July Book Club Meeting

Join the Rec Center Readers Book Club 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the Kirksey Recreation Center as they discuss “The Lions of Fifth Avenue” by Fiona Davis.
