Do you like decorating trees for the holidays?

Organizations, businesses, and families! Does your tree have what it takes to win the title of Best Holiday Tree in Livonia? 

If you haven’t registered for our new Festive Forest contest at Greenmead Historical Park, then what are you waiting for! Show what you've got by decorating a self-provided tree at Greenmead for hundreds of patrons to enjoy during the eight evenings of Night of Lights and throughout the holiday season. Space is limited on this fun contest, so make sure to register.

The Kirksey Recreation Center is also hosting the Deck the Rec event all December! You can register again this year! Patrons must provide their own artificial trees to decorate. 

To those interested in either location, you need to register by Sunday, Nov. 19.

Office hours

Keep in mind the Greenmead Historical Park and Senior Center offices are closed Friday, Nov. 10. The Kirksey Recreation Center is open with regular hours on this day.
