Who wouldn't want to read a Christmas book during the holidays!?Happy Holidays from the Recreation Readers Book Club located at the Kirksey Recreation Center! Join us 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27. The book that everyone in attendance will be talking about is called “Last Christmas in Paris” by Hazel Gaynor/Heather Webb. You can find this book at Livonia Public Libraries. The event is free for members, with a cost of $3 per non-member resident and $5 per non-resident. Register here before it sells out!

Holiday hoursThe Kirksey Recreation Center will have limited hours from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sun, Dec. 24. On Monday, Dec. 25, the Kirksey Recreation Center, Greenmead and the Civic Park Senior Center will be closed. The Kirksey Recreation Center reopens regular hours Tuesday, Dec. 26, but Greenmead and the senior center will be closed.
It will be limited 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. holiday hours for the Kirksey Recreation Center again Sunday-Monday, Dec. 31-Jan. 1, while Greenmead and the senior center will be closed Monday-Tuesday, Jan. 1-2. The Rec will be open regular hours Jan. 2.
