Livonia Shakespeare in the Park: 'A Comedy of Errors'

Join Livonia Shakespeare in the Park for "A Comedy of Errors!" It's playing in Stylmelski Veterans Park for two weekends only: July 18-20 and July 25-27.

Fridays and Saturdays, shows will begin at 6:30 p.m., and on Sundays, the shows will begin at 2 p.m.

Farm to Fork: The Power of Local Food

Learn about local food and its importance at the first part of this three-part lecture series 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 at the Alexander Blue House in Greenmead Historical Park.

In this one-hour session, Registered dietitian and chef Mary Balog will break down why choosing local food is good for our individual and collective health and wellbeing. We will highlight the impact of locally grown food on our nutrition, the environment, and the economy. It is all about simple choices that make a big difference. Come with questions or just to learn!
