Livonia Senior Wellness Center Open House

The new Livonia Senior Wellness Center (LSWC) is waiting for you! The community open house will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, and it will be your first chance to see it before it opens Monday, Nov. 17! You can take a self-guided tour and check out the space. No registration is needed.

The new LSWC, located adjacent to the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center, offers a safer, more accessible, and state-of-the-art environment for seniors. The facility features a dedicated circular drive and covered canopy entrance exclusively for Senior Wellness Center patrons, along with its own parking lot separate from The Rec. Inside, visitors will enjoy flexible rooms with moveable walls, a spacious kitchen and dining area, a welcoming café and lounge, and adaptable fitness spaces designed to meet a variety of wellness needs.

Although any and all are welcome to attend the open house without registration, regular use of the facility will be for those 55 and older. Find this event on Facebook!
