  1. Music From the Heart featuring Mainstreet Soul

    July 15, 2021, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

    Join us on Thursday, July 15 at 7 p.m. for Music From the Heart featuring Mainstreet Soul! Mainstreet Soul is Michigan’s premiere Motown and dance band experience! Bringing you only the very best of rock, pop and soul. Mainstreet Soul has also been awarded The Knot’s “Best Of weddings,” 2018-2020. You will want to bust a move, so be sure to bring your dancing shoes! All concerts will take place on the east side of the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center, 15100 Hubbard. Please plan on parking in the Five Mile lot. Alternate parking is available in Rec Center parking lot. Events are subject to change, cancellation and social distancing restrictions due to COVID-19.   1. Livonia Community Theatre - Broadway Bound! - Summer Theatre Camp

    July 12, 2021 - July 16, 2021

    Join us for our 11th Broadway Bound and help us kick off 10 years of Livonia Community Theatre! Since our very first Broadway Bound in 2011, we have explored a broad catalog of Broadway Favorites, old and new. This year, we will take a drive down memory lane and revisit some of those memorable moments, and even make a few new stops along the way with this year’s “Broadway Bound: Billboards”. Campers will have the opportunity to learn, rehearse, and perform group songs and dances, as well as be coached on monologues, scenes, and solos. You do not need prior theatre experience to join Broadway Bound! Livonia Community Theatre is dedicated to providing quality theatre experiences for people of all backgrounds and abilities. July 12-16, 9:00-5:00 pm (time subject to change) Grades: 6th-9th Cost: $150 Vocal Director: Brian Haverkate

    Opioid overdoses have had a profound impact on our community. With this training, you will learn how to use Narcan in an overdose situation. Training also includes education about the effects abusing opioids can have on the body. Free Narcan kit included (via the UPS). You must register in advance for this training After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Please share with your family, friends, and colleagues.
