    Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church will offer a sermon series on mental health June 20 through July 11. Please join us in-person or live on YouTube or Facebook at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays or check out the videos if the services at time on YouTube. The series will be lead by Pastor Kellie Whitlock, M.Div,, MA, LLP Mental Health challenges now impact our daily lives, relationships, communities. One in every five people struggle with mental illness and for too long the Christian Church has been silent to their pain – Jesus clearly calls us “to love our neighbors as ourselves.” Being silent has created a chasm defined by fears of being judged, rejected and alone. It’s time to connect faith and mental illness. It’s time to build a bridge of hope which reflects God’s story of love and redemption where we encounter Jesus who is the light even in the darkness that can accompany mental illness.     The Friends of Greenmead will hold its 31st Annual Garden Walk on Saturday, June 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Five privately owned gardens will be open for touring as well as the Simmons-Hill House Gardens. Tickets are $9 in advance, $10 day of the event. Beginning in June, tickets may be purchased in person at: Greenmead Office, 20501 Newburgh Road Robert and Janet Bennett Civic Center Library, 32777 Five Mile Road Please be prepared to pay with cash or check.
