The new Livonia Senior Wellness Center, located adjacent to the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center, offers a safer, more accessible, and state-of-the-art environment for seniors. The facility features a dedicated circular drive and covered canopy entrance exclusively for Senior Wellness patrons, along with its own parking lot separate from The Rec. Inside, visitors will enjoy flexible rooms with moveable walls, a spacious kitchen and dining area, a welcoming café and lounge, and adaptable fitness spaces designed to meet a variety of wellness needs.

The Rec
Although the LSWC construction is wrapping up, renovations continue at the Kirksey Recreation Center. The new gym on the west side of the building opened in August 2025, but the fitness area renovations that began immediately afterward will continue through at least the end of February 2026. The former FitHub, Main Gyms and indoor track are unavailable, but most of the fitness equipment is still available throughout the building.
