Nature Trails
Enjoy Livonia's hidden treasurers. Hiking trails have been established to provide you an opportunity to walk into the more remote parts of Livonia with a minimum of inconvenience.
You will be able to observe several stages of forest succession, wildlife footprints, many tree species, nesting areas, snow science and ecological points of interest.
Take Pride in Livonia Day
Scheduled for the first Saturday in May, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A special day designed to spruce up neighborhood parks with the assistance of Civic Organizations, scout or school groups and the Livonia Parks and Recreation Department. Taking pride in our community is contagious and the benefits are endless. Join the many volunteers afterward for a picnic and community camaraderie. Scouts, this is a great opportunity to earn patches or badges. Volunteer today, call (734) 466-2410.
