Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

COMMODITY FOODS DISTRIBUTION

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) commodity food is distributed on a monthly basis to qualified low-income Livonia residents based on their total household income and residency. Residents who receive SSI, Bridge Card or Medicaid benefits are automatically eligible. Those receiving all other sources of income must qualify based on federal income guidelines. 

In order to be eligible for the program you must:

- meet the eligibility guidelines

- submit an application

- submit proof of income and Livonia residency

 

Distribution is every third Tuesday of the month from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. at the old Livonia Courthouse next to the senior center located on the SE corner of Five Mile and Farmington.
