The LIVONIA ARCHERY RANGE is closed may 27 and 28 for memorial weekend


HOURS OF OPERATION

The Livonia Archery Range is located at 32710 Glendale Avenue off Farmington Road between I-96 and Plymouth Road. Please note that an adult must accompany all children ages 10 and under.

The Livonia Archery Range does not have a credit card machine on-site and patrons are highly encouraged to bring cash. 

Day passes and season passes are available for purchase through the link below. Archery staff can assist with online transactions on-site if needed. 

ARCHERY SEASON PASS AND DAY PASS ONLINE REGISTRATION

The Archery Range Season Pass allows holders to access the Livonia Archery Range anytime during open shooting hours. All equipment rental from the Archery Range is included as a part of the season pass. 

2023 Archery Season Passes can be purchased at the Kirksey Recreation Center or online beginning in Jan. 2023. Proof of residency is required.

Day PASSES

Day passes allow shooters to access the Livonia Archery Range for the day of purchase during open shooting hours. All equipment rental from the Archery Range is included as a part of the day pass. Proof of residency is required. If purchased online, please keep the receipt as proof of purchase.

Livonia Parks and Recreation is excited to offer archery classes once again in the spring and summer. All equipment and materials for classes are provided at the Livonia Archery Range. Participants may bring their own bows and arrows if desired. All archery class registration closes four days prior to the start of class.

Archery 101: 
Intro to Archery
Beginner's Archery IBeginner's Archery II
 Each 90-minute class allows new archers to have the opportunity to learn the basics of archery through instruction, drills, and activities. 
Topics include safety, bow types, and shooting techniques 
This weekly class is designed to provide new archers with a focused program and curriculum on the basics of the sport of archery. 
Class consists of four weeks of classes with two weeks of makeup. 
 Participants will spend their four weekly classes honing their form and abilities through drills and techniques to increase their accuracy and distance. 

*Must have taken Beginner’s Archery I*

ARCHERY RANGE FAQS 

  1. Are crossbows allowed at the range? 
    1. Crossbows are allowed at the Livonia Archery Range. Anyone using a crossbow must shoot from the designated crossbow lane and provide their own bolts.
  2. Are broadhead arrows allowed at the range?
    1. Broadhead arrows are permitted at the Livonia Archery Range. Any archer using broadhead arrows must provide their own targets for shooting.
  3. What equipment is available at the range?
    1. The Livonia Archery Range has recurve and compound bows for ages 8+ available for use with the purchase of a day pass or season pass. The range has target and target faces for individuals to use. 
  4. Can I bring my own equipment?
    1. Shooters are welcome to bring their own equipment.
