Pet LicensesTwo Dogs at 2023 Super Duper Dog Park Dedication

All cats and dogs must be licensed by the City. A pet license (PDF) will only be issued with a copy of a valid rabies vaccination certificate. A standard one-year license (from March 1 to the last day in February) is $8 for a neutered or spayed dog or cat, and $11 for a non-neutered or non-spayed dog or cat. After June 1, there is a late fee of $11 added to the price.

BiCentennial Dog ParkSuper Duper Dog Park

Located in Bicentennial Park (36000 W. Seven Mile Road), the dog park features waste stations, a doggie drinking fountain (available April-September), benches, agility stations, areas designated for small and large dogs, as well as an open area to allow for rotation. Learn more about the park and how to become a member at Livonia.gov/1885. Submit this application (PDF) to the Kirksey Recreation Center to apply for membership.

Livonia's Animal Control Office is part of the Public Service Division. Animal Control officers respond to residents' requests for a wide range of services, from maintaining public safety by enforcing all animal laws, ordinances and humane care regulations, to investigating cases of bites, neglect and more.
